The Big Word Project Comments Off

I just bought a word over a the The Big Word Project. A website similar to the million dollar homepage but with the Big Word Project, you buy a word from the dictionary that sums up your website. Nice idea. Kudos to the founders.

Psystar Open Computer Tested Comments Off

Engadget received one of Psystar’s Open Computers, and played around with it for a few hours. They formed some opinions on it and they share it with their readers, along with a video. Overall it was a positive experience except the fan on the thing is way too loud. So loud in fact that they couldn’t see dealing with it on a daily basis. That fact alone probably makes me think twice about purchasing one.

They also reports that the next-gen iPhone with 3G and GPS has been spotted. Interesting if true

Calling All Virgins (who support a free web) 0

Tanya Devereaux (pretty hot) is willing to take your virginity off of your hands if you support net neutrality. And you really have to support it. I’m not too sure how that is proved, you have to over 18 (sorry 16 year old nerds) and you can only go for 30 minutes. Meh, better off hitting Craigslist.

Twinkle Meet Twitter 0

I was browsing the headlines on TUAW today and ran across their review of Twinkle from Gogo Apps.  Being an occasional user of Twitter I found the concept of Twinkle pretty cool. Twinkle is a Twitter client which adds photos and geo-location, URL’s and Follow/Stop Following control. The beauty is that you can find people “twittering” near you, if that’s your thing.

It’s seems easy to use(I’ll admit I haven’t used it yet, so I really don’t know), but the reviewer on TUAW seems to have liked it, except for “an infinite loop of authentication errors and had to force-quit the application” when he put his password in wrong.
