Apple’s iPhone is a great success and users are beginning to use the full potential of their iPhone which includes creating free iPhone ringtones which is actually pretty easy to do. All you need are music files with the m4a extension which you simply rename to m4r and add to a playlist in iTunes.

Another great way to download free iphone ringtones is to use the iTunes sample music files and use the same method outlined above to create the ringtones. It can’t get easier than this, can it ?

I recently bought an old G3 ibook off of ebay as a backup if my other laptop fails. It was very cheap, under $200, but no airport card. You might be able to find one of ebay cheaper.
