Twinkle Meet Twitter 0

I was browsing the headlines on TUAW today and ran across their review of Twinkle from Gogo Apps.  Being an occasional user of Twitter I found the concept of Twinkle pretty cool. Twinkle is a Twitter client which adds photos and geo-location, URL’s and Follow/Stop Following control. The beauty is that you can find people “twittering” near you, if that’s your thing.

It’s seems easy to use(I’ll admit I haven’t used it yet, so I really don’t know), but the reviewer on TUAW seems to have liked it, except for “an infinite loop of authentication errors and had to force-quit the application” when he put his password in wrong.

Gawker Artists 0

My mom, a fairly talented amateur artist, sent me to a painting class at the ripe old age of 8 to start me on my way to a glorious career of artistry. It took all of about three lessons to; 1. realize I had little talent and 2. I preferred to watch the other kids paint while I drank my Kool-Aid out of my Spiderman thermos. Thus began my career of being an admiring art fan. And I am still one today. Check out my ode to struggling and not so struggling creative artists with the addition of a Gawker Artists banner at the bottom of my website. The art rotates, so each time the page is loaded you get new art, and you can find information on the artist by clicking the banner. Now get yourself some culture.

Send Google Maps to TomTom…Awesome 0

Now this is a sweet deal. Google and GPS maker TomTom have buddied up to make it easier to “upload
destination information into your in-car GPS.” This How to explains how to quickly upload a bunch
of destinations(liquor store, strip club, escape route). With all of your where to’s pre-loaded as favorites, you can focus on your stunt driving on the local interstate.

Holy Crap Sour Skittles 0

I didn’t even know. When did they start making sour Skittles? Something tells me these are going to be great. I’m going to have to go out and get some right now, no tomorrow, no right now today. Ok, gotta get a hold of myself. Tomorrow.
