Plans are in the works for Sharp to sell 108-inch LCD TV this year. The Japanese electronics maker Sharp Corp will begin selling a 108-inch LCD television later this year, and that they had developed a prototype 65-inch liquid crystal display TV that was just over 1 inch thick and weighed 23 percent less than previous models.
