Increase Ad Revenue, Learn a Language 0

A new service purports to help you gain revenue from Adsense and others by helping you choose the ads and ad networks that will work the best with your site. PubMatic is in alpha mode right now, but you can still register.

Want to learn a language the social networking way? Go check Live Mocha. According to the site it’s the first of it’s kind. It has fun and interactive lessons, and you can track your progress and, I guess, talk to people who actually speak the language you are learning. I wonder if they offer pig Latin?

SiteFever.com, New Site for Me 5

I was pretty surprised to see sitefever.com up for sale on Digital Point, and then sell quickly for just over $1000. In a short 11 weeks the blog was fairly popular. I wish the new owner luck!

GoMotorScooter.com is my newest blog. It will be all about espousing the goodness of riding a motor scooter. Please check it out and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Spiral Frog 0

I’m just checking out Spiral Frog, and I’ll tell ya, it’s pretty cool. Only 800,000 songs compared to millions on iTunes, but iTunes costs money and Spiral Frog is free. One hitch too, you have Renew Your Membership with Spiral Frog after 30 days. This involves answering questions(ads) once a month. Fair trade. Free music. I haven’t exactly gotten too in depth with the service, and I’m sure I won’t find obscure tracks and albums, but most of the popular ones like U2 are on there. It’s worth checking out for 30 days at least.

Check out Six Apart, they are connecting us together all of our separate social networks. Otherwise known as social graph, this has been discussed for a while. Nice to see it might be happening. I own socialgraphblog.com. Maybe I’ll develop it.

Favicon Generator 0

Nice Favicon Generator and Gallery for anyone looking for that type of thing. I honestly don’t think you need a cool icon for your site, but it doesn’t hurt having a little something, up on the tab. IE 7 also displays favicons in the browser tabs. Just don’t sweat it if your icon doesn’t live up to the rest of your site.

Turnkey Websites and Blogger Templates 7

You probably know what a turnkey website is, maybe you don’t. I Blog - You Blog has a nice post on making money with turnkey websites. And in case you want to jump right in, run over to Sitepoint Marketplace for turnkey websites for sale. Did I say turnkey websites enough? Turnkey.

Mashable has a nice list of blogger templates. Funny that Blogger is one of the top, if not the top hosted blogging platform, yet you read very little about their templates as compared to Wordpress.
